Featured Ballpark: Sherwood Yards
A new feature that I would like to continue on the blog, I want to take a tour around the US, and hopefully worldwide, and see some of the great ballparks of wiffleball. The first ball park I am going to take a look at is Sherwood Yards, home of Diablo Wiffleball in Southeast Missouri. The thing that sticks out to me is how manicured this ballpark is....seriously it is a thing of beauty. One of the signature features of the park is the ivy in left field, with the specialized Diablo Scoreboard sitting above it. 20 Foot Foul poles, custom backstop, and bleachers sitting behind home plate make me feel all tingly inside. Each year the Diablos host their version of the Wiffle Ball World Series (WBWS) which is an on going tournament entering its 13th year this October.
